Uniform Fraudulent Conveyance Act (UFCA)

Law
  1. set of laws adopted in 1918 by a national commission on uniform state laws seeking to address the issue of conveyances made by an insolvent or bankrupt debtor who attempts to defraud a creditor. Some conveyances were presumed fraudulent while others required that there be actual intent to commit fraud. The Act has been replaced in most states by the Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act.
